The Heart Sutra in everyday life.
One friend says,
“The Heart Sutra is the very root of Buddhism. A monk reciting this sutra today is following the same path as his ancient predecessors. His recitation is not about the meaning of the words. He must go beyond the meaning. He uses the sutra as a bridge between the world of Phenomena and the world of no ideas …..beyond words, beyond meaning, beyond everything. He becomes the sutra itself ….form is emptiness and emptiness is form. He is both form and emptiness and sutra.”

I feel that when ever I take a history in my office, the person involved is reciting The Heart Sutra in her or his special way. Our job together is to work with life events and live out the matra, Gone, Gone, Gone Beyond, Gone completely beyond. Awake Rejoice!
